The 110,000 square foot facility is home to highly advanced, state-of-the-art recycling technologies. Featuring an interactive Learning Center offering visitors a rare, first-hand view of the recycling process.

Field trip reservations are available for youth groups, school groups, scout groups (5th Grade and Higher), business groups, and customers.

The Learning Center is available for private meeting reservations for customers, community organizations and business groups.

PBS featured Republic’s Las Vegas operations – Apex Landfill and the recycling center – in “Overview,” a series focused on the science behind our everyday world. The video highlights how modern landfills and recycling centers like ours work together to provide sustainable solutions for the communities we serve. As a leader in the environmental services industry, we’re leveraging technology to increase recycling at the Southern Nevada Recycling Center, which takes in 1.8 million pounds of recyclables per day.
